SOCIAL EVENTS

The Field Club holds a number of social events during the year, brief details of which can be found on the Programme for each season. Full information for each event is made available both on the Website and at the Social Desk at the Hogar prior to the date.

Bookings for each social event are taken on Monday mornings and the cost must be paid at the time of booking. Guests are welcome at the discretion of the Social Secretary, subject to places being available.

SPONSORSHIP & CHARITY EVENTS

The Field Club appreciates that charity events and being sponsored personally are worthwhile causes. However it has a policy not to advertise charity events and does not permit the promotion, or collection, of sponsorship on the coach, or at any Field Club outing or event, including our Monday morning meetings.

By all means feel free to talk about your involvement with a charity and ask Members individually, to discuss with you privately if they would like to support your particular cause.

ADVERTISING

The Field Club has a policy to not advertise any form of goods, products, or services for sale or hire, in accordance with the same guidelines which are applicable to Sponsorship and Charity events.

WALKING HOLIDAYS

There are generally two Club holidays each year. The holidays are normally of 3 or 4 days duration in March and October and are usually in Andalucia, although occasionally further afield in Spain, or abroad.

Field Club holidays are popular and places are allocated on a first come first served basis, with the proviso that priority is given to those who have actively supported the Club’s walking programme in the preceding season.

Full information regarding each holiday, including the cost, details and date for opening for bookings, will be made available to Members at the Hogar.

Future holidays are dependent upon Members being prepared to offer their time and expertise in organising these events.
